Reservation Policies:
Our payment, change, and cancellation policies for reservations made from March 1, 2023, will require a 30%* deposit to confirm bookings. The remaining balance must be paid 15 days before check-in for travel agencies and DMCs, and 30 days before check-in for individual travelers, except for exploratory trips and special date periods, which require payment 30 and 60 days respectively before check-in.

Changes to Reservations:
You may make changes to your reservation without a penalty up to 15 days before check-in. After this period, a penalty will be charged.

  • 15 or more days before check-in date: No penalty
  • 14 days before check-in date: 50% penalty
  • 5 days before check-in date: 100% penalty

For exploratory trips, changes can be made up to 30 days before check-in without penalty. After that, the following conditions apply:

  • 30 or more days before check-in date: No penalty
  • 29 to 25 days before check-in date: 50% penalty
  • 24 to 0 days before check-in date: 100% penalty

Consult the change and cancellation policies for reservations made before September 8, 2022, at reservas@hotelesawe.com.

Other Considerations for Modification and Cancellation:
A reservation that has been modified once cannot be canceled or will incur an initial penalty. The cancellation or modification of a reservation containing third-party services is subject to the conditions established in the section “Special Conditions for Third-Party or Private Services.”

Promotions with Special Conditions:
For reservations made under special promotions and last-minute offers, the following cancellation penalties apply:

  • Up to 30 days before the arrival date: 30% of the total reservation amount.
  • Between 15 and 0 days before the arrival date at the Hotel: 100% of the total reservation amount.

Special Conditions for Third-Party or Private Services:
External Services:
If external services (charter flights, helicopter services, etc.) have been contracted at the time of cancellation or modification of the reservation, a penalty equivalent to 100% of the charge by the external company will apply.

Explorations combining Hoteles AWE services with third-party services may have logistical limitations that impose certain conditions when contracting such explorations. Therefore, these special explorations must be pre-scheduled.

  • Agencies and DMCs:

    • 15 or more days before check-in date: No penalty
    • 14 days before check-in date: 50% penalty
    • 5 days before check-in date: 100% penalty
  • Direct Clients:

    • 30 or more days before check-in date: No penalty
    • 29 to 15 days before check-in date: 50% penalty
    • 14 to 0 days before check-in date: 100% penalty

For multi-destination explorations, cancellations can be made up to 30 days before check-in without penalty. After that, the following conditions apply:

  • 30 or more days before check-in date: No penalty
  • 29 to 10 days before check-in date: 50% penalty
  • 9 to 0 days before check-in date: 100% penalty

For refunds and reimbursements, a transaction fee will apply: 3% of the refunded amount for credit card payments and USD 25 for bank transfer payments.

Cancellations for Peak Dates (March 1 to April 30):
During these dates, a 50%* deposit is required to confirm the reservation. You may cancel your reservation without penalty up to 15 days before check-in. For other periods, the previously mentioned penalties apply.

Other Considerations for Modification and Cancellation:
A reservation that has been modified once cannot be canceled or will incur an initial penalty. The cancellation or modification of a reservation containing third-party services is subject to the conditions established in the section “Special Conditions for Third-Party or Private Services.”

Other Considerations:
AWE International Developments SL, owner of Hoteles AWE, is not responsible and will not provide any refund for parts of travel services lost due to canceled or delayed flights or third-party transportation services and other circumstances beyond the company’s control or responsibility that may be considered “force majeure” events. This includes, but is not limited to, cancellations and/or delays due to weather conditions, road conditions, fires, explosions, earthquakes, droughts, tsunamis, floods, general strikes, and health pandemics or crises of any nature.
